The Science Bowl competitors are school teams comprised of four students, one alternate, and a teacher who serves as a coach. The teams face-off in fast-paced question and answer rounds and tested on a range of science disciplines including biology, chemistry, Earth science, physics, energy, and math. The event is open to teams from throughout the State of Arizona. Winners of this regional Science Bowl will advance to the National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C.
The event is hosted at ASU West in partnership with the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences and the School of Mathematical and Natural Science.
